The Charles M. Schulz- Sonoma County Airport (STS) is a division of the Sonoma County Department of Public Infrastructure. Located in the heart of Northern California’s world-renowned Wine Country, STS is the only airport that offers scheduled air service into the North Bay region.

Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport to undergo triennial training exercise
On June 17 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport (STS) will be hosting its 2025 Triennial Full-Scale Emergency Exercise to test the Airport Emergency Plan and assess readiness for a major incident. Mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration, the Triennial is a practical exercise and safety training that takes place every three years at commercial service airports around the United States. The exercise simulates a large-scale aircraft incident, testing the planning, operational readiness, speed and effectiveness of emergency personnel across multiple agencies in real-time.
